Discount on Tax
If the vehicle owner pays the annual token tax on or before 31st September of the financial year then 10% discount will be given. And Payment through e-Pay will be given 5% discount.
How to Pay Punjab Token Tax Payment?
Upon the instructions and guidance of Finance Department of Punjab, Punjab IT Board has developed an application “e-Pay Punjab” for Public to Government and from Business to Government payment in Pakistan. E-Pay also provide the facility for online Punjab token tax payment. Follow the procedure to token tax payment.
- Install “e-Pay Punjab” application on your smart phone.
- Register yourself by providing necessary information.
- Now login to e-Pay Punjab, and click on “Excise and Taxation Department”
- Now click on “Token Tax”.
- Enter your vehicle registration number and click on search button.
- System will fetch the details against your vehicle number and show you the total amount of token tax. (commercial vehicles owners can pay the tax quarterly, bi-quarterly, tri-quarterly or yearly basis.).
- Now click on “Generate Challan”, system will provide you the PSID number against your vehicle token tax payment.
- Note that PSID and use it to pay the token tax on the alternate delivery channels or over the counters of banks working in Punjab.
